The Annual General Meeting took place on Wednesday evening and a very well-attended meeting saw the committee’s new structure unanimously approved by those present and the committee were given the green light to transition to the new set up over the next 12 months.
Long serving Club President John Fraser stood down from his position after a half a century of service to the club and full recognition of John’s service will be shared in due course.
We also thank Graham Wilkie and John Mumford for their service with both also stepping down from the committee.
Andy Penman was elected as the new President to lead the club forward under the new structure and said ‘It’s an honour and a privilege to be entrusted with driving forward our football club and following in John’s footsteps is indeed a massive challenge. I look forward to working with and engaging with our supporters and sponsors as we move into a new season and new challenges’.
Neil Gordon and John McBean were re-elected to the positions of Secretary and Treasurer respectively with Dougie Penman, John Walker, Billy King, John Masson and Alex Bald forming the rest of the Committee.
