Sean Stewart returns to the Cuikie

We are delighted to confirm that forward Sean Stewart will re-join Penicuik Athletic ahead of season 2025/26 following the expiry of his current contract.

Sean’s first spell at the Cuikie began with a bang as he marked his debut on the opening day of 2019/20 with a header against Dunbar but he is more remembered for his Scottish Cup exploits during our run to the 3rd Round, bagging a hat-trick against Easthouses before further strikes against Cumbernauld Colts and Stenhousemuir.

After the Covid re-start season in 2020 being shut down, Sean moved on to Berwick Rangers before joining Dunbar United where he was part of the squad that won the East of Scotland First Division in 2023.

Sean is the first signing under new Cuikie boss Ryan Harding who said he is delighted to be adding Sean’s experience, pace and skill to the squad, while Sean is looking forward to pulling on the blue and white stripes at Montgomery Park once again.
