Thank You

On behalf of everyone from the players and coaching staff to all our volunteers, I would like to thank everyone who came along on Tuesday night to cheer us on against Clyde, a record crowd of 1322 for Montgomery Park. It was a great occasion for the club and the backing you gave the boys on the park was immense. Unfortunately, there could only be one winner on the park on the night and our penalty shoot out hoodoo continued.

I spoke in the build up about the roar when Sean Stewart scored the third against Stenhousemuir back in 2019 and what it would feel like to hear that roar again. The roar when Daryl Healy scored the equaliser raised the roof and it's a moment that will live not only with the players but with everyone that was present and the ovation when they finally left the pitch after 130 minutes of action should act as an inspiration for what they can achieve with our football club.

Since the draw was announced it has been non-stop, the BBC or not the BBC, three storms of Yellow and Amber status over five days, the clean up, the second clean up. To everyone in our town and beyond who helped us in anyway to make playing possible on Tuesday night, a heartfelt thanks!

To our friends at PAYFC, a massive thank you for the mascots and the fantastic support from the 'Ultras'. Memories were made and I hope the next generation will be inspired by the events on Tuesday night.

Thank you to our town and our Cuikie Family - I hope we did you proud.

Andy Penman

Club President

on behalf of the Players, Staff, Committee and Volunteers
