HALFTIME | Penicuik Athletic 0-3 Camelon Juniors

With a big second half performance required of Penicuik, in the 49th minute, a neat interchange between McCrory-Irving and O’Donnell led to Connolly setting up Stevenson but he dragged his shot wide‬. Then in the 57th minute, a Penicuik attack broke down and Camelon countered with Watt getting a foot to the ball to send McKenzie’s shot wide‬. On the hour mark, Baptie’s ball forward found Jones and he cut it back for Ponton who was denied by Shaw for a corner. Then followed a flurry of substitutions by both sides, that failed to change the flow of the game. In summation, this was a well deserved three points for Camelon and a poor Penicuik performance.
