Struan Woodford departs

We can confirm that forward Struan Woodford has left Penicuik Athletic and joined Linton Hotspur.
Struan became one of the youngest players in the clubs history when he made his first team debut against Oakley United under Calum Elliot back in April 2023 before he joined up with our U20s squad for the 2023/24 season.
Throughout his three years with the U20s, Struan made seventy-nine appearances, scoring thirty-five times and registering forty-three assists, as well as being part of the squad that won the East of Scotland Development League East last season, and also reaching the final of the Knockout Cup in 2024/25.
Struan also progressed more into the first team squad during last season, scoring his only senior goal in our East of Scotland Qualifying Cup tie against Edinburgh Community, and overall made twenty appearances in the senior team and getting two assists.
