HALFTIME | Penicuik Athletic 1-0 Camelon Juniors

Straight from the restart, Camelon went on the attack and Penicuik had Bejaoui to thank for tipping a Donaldson strike past his left hand post. From the corner Allison headed wide. In the 55th minute, a Sproule strike was easily gathered by keeper Kane. Ten minutes later, a driving run by full back Forbes saw his cross come shot dip over the crossbar with Kane back peddling anxiously. In the 79th minute, Kane rushed from goal to clear under pressure by McCallum and substitute Connolly’s strike from the halfway line hit the back of the net but was disallowed by referee Ferguson for a foul by McCallum on the keeper. Penicuik doubled their lead in the 81st minute when excellent work by Montgomery and McCallum set up Substitute Kyle SCOTT to sore his first goal for Penicuik and put the game to bed. Two minutes later, a McCallum free kick was comfortably saved by keeper Kane. In the 87th minute, Barr won the ball in midfield, drove forward and set up Scott, but Kane saved his effort at the second attempt.
